Product quality should be supported by independently verifiable evidence, not simply claims. Cobalt publishes analytical testing documentation for its research products, including results from Janoshik Analytical, an independent third-party laboratory specialising in peptide analysis.
Where Janoshik testing is available, you can verify the original laboratory record yourself using the unique verification link provided within the product’s Certificate of Analysis. Cobalt commissions its own testing, and some testing is commissioned by our upstream suppliers.

Analytical methods
- Identity
- Analytical confirmation that the sample is the compound it should be. It is part of a result only where the laboratory's report includes an identity test; a purity figure on its own does not establish identity.
- Purity
- The analytical purity reported for the tested sample, typically by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) as an area percentage: the share of the detected signal in the main peak. It says how clean the sample is, not how much peptide it holds, and it does not show the absence of every contaminant. Where a batch has been tested and falls below our 99% purity threshold it is destroyed, not reclassified and not returned to the supplier.
- Content
- The measured quantity of peptide in the tested sample, where quantitative testing was performed. A 60 mg product reported at about 64 mg with purity above 99% is two separate results: how much peptide the sample held, and how pure it was.
- Not included unless documented
- Standard identity, purity and content analysis does not include sterility testing, bacterial endotoxin testing or comprehensive contaminant screening. These are separate analyses, and none of them should be assumed for a batch unless its documentation shows it was performed.
- Who commissioned the test
- Cobalt Peptides commissions its own laboratory testing, and some testing is commissioned by our upstream suppliers. Where a supplier commissioned it, the laboratory tests the sample it is sent and the report is made available to us; we publish the results and, where we hold it, the laboratory's own verification record. A result describes the sample that was tested: it is not a test of each vial, and a supplier-commissioned sample was not drawn from our stock.
- The laboratory report behind it
- A published certificate transcribes the purity and content figures reported for the batch. It is not the laboratory's own report and does not reproduce chromatograms or mass data. The laboratory's report is the authoritative document; where Janoshik tested the sample and the record is linked, you can open it at source.

Frequently asked questions
How do I verify my Certificate of Analysis?
Enter your batch number (found on your product label) in the search box above, exactly as it is printed: SKU-YYMM, such as CU100-2609, or SKU-DDMMYY, such as TR40-111225. An older label carrying an LP- prefix still verifies. If you cannot find your batch number, the product page for your variant lists the latest batch for that product.
Who independently tests Cobalt products?
Janoshik Analytical, an independent third-party laboratory specialising in peptide analysis, tests many of the products we publish certificates for. It is not the only laboratory that may be involved: where a certificate records the laboratory, it names it, and where Cobalt commissioned a test itself, the certificate says so.
Can I verify a CoA directly with the laboratory?
Where Janoshik tested the sample and its verification record is held, the certificate carries a "Verify directly with Janoshik" link. It is the original task-specific link, with its verification key, and it opens Janoshik's own verification system rather than a document Cobalt produced. A certificate without a stored record has no link, rather than one that leads nowhere.
Does the laboratory report name Cobalt Peptides?
Not always. A laboratory report generally names whoever submitted the sample, so where testing was commissioned by one of our upstream suppliers, the report names that supplier rather than Cobalt. We also track stock under our own batch references, so the laboratory's documentation may carry the supplier's batch or sample reference rather than the Cobalt batch code on your label. Our certificate links the two as far as our records establish, and no further.
Does the testing include sterility and endotoxin testing?
Not by default. Sterility and bacterial endotoxin testing are separate analyses from identity, purity and content testing, as is comprehensive contaminant screening. None of them should be assumed for a batch unless its documentation shows it was performed.
How recent are the test results?
Each published certificate shows the date the laboratory analysed the sample. Where testing was commissioned by a supplier, that is when the supplied sample was tested rather than when stock reached us. We recommend using compounds within the recommended storage timeframe to maintain purity and stability.
What if my batch number isn't found?
Check that you entered it exactly as printed on your label: SKU-YYMM, such as CU100-2609, or SKU-DDMMYY, such as TR40-111225. If the issue persists, please contact our support team with your order details.
