Terms & Conditions
Please review these terms carefully before accessing our website or placing an order.
Definitions
In these Terms, "Website" means the Cobalt Peptides website, "Products" means all goods supplied by Cobalt Peptides, "Order" means a request submitted by a buyer to purchase Products, and "Contract" means the agreement formed only when Cobalt Peptides accepts an Order in writing. References to "Buyer", "you", or "your" are to the person or entity placing the Order.
Research Use Only
Products supplied by Cobalt Peptides are intended strictly for laboratory and research purposes. They are not for human or veterinary consumption or administration, are not medicinal products, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or medical condition. They are not supplied for self-administration or for therapeutic use, and are not marketed or supplied as medicines, food, supplements or consumer health products. By purchasing, you confirm that the products are being acquired for research use only and that you are competent to handle them safely and lawfully.
Eligibility
Customers must be at least 18 years old and based in the United Kingdom. Institutional or professional affiliation is not required. We reserve the right to request additional information about the intended research use before accepting or fulfilling an order, and to refuse or cancel an order where research intent cannot reasonably be established.
Orders & Payments
All orders are treated as offers to purchase and are subject to availability and formal acceptance by Cobalt Peptides. A binding contract is formed only when we issue written acceptance (including order confirmation or dispatch confirmation). Customers may choose PayPal or Pay by Bank — powered by Fena, where available at checkout. For Pay by Bank, customers choose their bank, securely authenticate with their bank, and approve the payment before returning to Cobalt. Leaving Cobalt or approving a payment with a bank does not itself complete an Order; the Order is completed only after Cobalt receives confirmation that payment is successful. Prices are stated in GBP and include VAT where applicable. Cobalt Peptides reserves the right to correct pricing errors or obvious mistakes prior to acceptance of an Order.
Fraud / Identity Safeguard
Cobalt Peptides may refuse, cancel, suspend, or require verification for any Order, account, or payment where fraud, misrepresentation, regulatory risk, payment irregularity, or breach of these Terms is reasonably suspected.
Shipping
We currently ship only within the UK. Orders are dispatched using tracked and insured courier services. Delivery estimates are provided at checkout but may vary.
Time for Delivery
Any delivery dates or times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Time for delivery is not of the essence, and delay shall not entitle cancellation, rejection, or compensation except where required by applicable UK statutory law.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the nature of chemical reagents, returns are only accepted if products are unopened, incorrect, or damaged upon receipt. Customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.
Inspection Obligation
The Buyer must inspect Products immediately upon delivery and notify Cobalt Peptides of any discrepancy, defect, shortage, or transit issue within 48 hours. Subject always to statutory rights that cannot be excluded under UK law, failure to notify within that period shall constitute acceptance of the delivery.
Risk & Title
Risk in Products passes to the Buyer upon delivery, including where delivery is attempted at the delivery address provided by the Buyer. Legal and beneficial title to Products remains with Cobalt Peptides until we receive payment in full (in cleared funds) for all sums due under the relevant Contract. Until title passes, the Buyer must store Products securely, separately, and in a manner that clearly identifies Cobalt Peptides as owner.
Cancellation Policy
Any Order submitted is an offer by the Buyer and may be accepted or declined by Cobalt Peptides at our discretion. Where an Order has not yet been accepted, we may cancel and issue a refund. Once accepted, cancellation requests are considered on a case-by-case basis in view of product nature, batch handling, and dispatch status. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable UK consumer law, including statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Regulatory Compliance by Buyer
The Buyer is solely responsible for ensuring that purchase, import, possession, handling, storage, and use of Products comply with all applicable laws, regulations, codes, and institutional policies. By placing an Order, the Buyer confirms that they are legally entitled to acquire and use the Products for lawful research purposes and will not use Products in any prohibited manner. Products may be subject to export controls or regulatory restrictions. The Buyer must not export or re-export Products without ensuring full compliance with applicable UK export control laws.
Product Quality & Testing
Cobalt Peptides commissions independent third-party laboratory analysis across its product range and publishes the available Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for tested products and batches. The analytical results recorded vary between tested products and batches, and the applicable COA is the record of the testing information available for that product or batch. Cobalt Peptides may use internal batch references for stock tracking; third-party laboratory documentation may reference the corresponding supplier batch or sample rather than the Cobalt Peptides internal batch code.
No Warranty Beyond COA
Except as expressly set out in the applicable Certificate of Analysis (COA), no further warranties or representations are given in relation to Products, whether express or implied, including as to satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose, or non-infringement. This clause is subject at all times to rights that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Limitation of Liability
Except where the Buyer is acting as a consumer under applicable UK law, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, Cobalt Peptides shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, including (without limitation) loss of profit, loss of data, loss of opportunity, loss of anticipated savings, or business interruption. Where the Buyer is acting in the course of business, the liability limitations in this section apply in full. Subject always to mandatory statutory rights, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with any Contract shall not exceed the price paid by the Buyer for the specific Products giving rise to the claim. Cobalt Peptides supplies Products strictly for research use only and accepts no liability for misuse, including ingestion, clinical application, administration to humans or animals, or use outside intended lawful research contexts. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the laws of England and Wales.
Force Majeure
Cobalt Peptides shall not be liable for any delay in performance, non-performance, or failure to perform any obligation under these Terms where caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, supplier disruption, regulatory action, transport delays, utility interruption, IT failure, cyber incidents, labour disputes, or other force majeure events.
Intellectual Property
All website content, branding, logos, and product descriptions are the intellectual property of Cobalt Peptides. Reproduction or distribution without written consent is prohibited.

Your use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information.
Electronic Communications
You agree that electronic communications from Cobalt Peptides, including emails, notices, invoices, and order confirmations, satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. It is your responsibility to ensure that contact details provided to us remain accurate and monitored.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or competent authority to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision shall be severed and the remainder of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any documents expressly incorporated by reference (including our Privacy Policy), constitute the entire agreement between Cobalt Peptides and the Buyer in relation to the subject matter and supersede all prior discussions, understandings, or representations, except where fraudulent misrepresentation is proven.
Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with the date of last revision.
