Scope

This policy applies to all research compounds, reference materials and laboratory supplies sold under the Cobalt Peptides trading name. It applies to every order placed through this website and to any supply arranged directly with our team.

Products supplied by Cobalt Peptides are intended strictly for laboratory and research purposes. They are not for human or veterinary consumption or administration, are not medicinal products, and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate or prevent any disease or medical condition. They are not supplied for self-administration or for therapeutic use, and are not marketed or supplied as medicines, food, supplements or consumer health products.

Permitted Use

Materials may be acquired and used for lawful scientific work, including:

• Biochemical and molecular research
• Scientific investigation and education

Who May Purchase

Purchasers must be 18 years of age or older and must be competent to receive, store, handle and dispose of research chemicals safely and lawfully.

We do not require purchasers to be employed by, or affiliated with, a university, hospital or commercial laboratory. Competent independent researchers may purchase, provided the materials are used only for the permitted purposes set out above and in accordance with all applicable law.

The purchaser is responsible for ensuring that acquisition, possession, storage, handling and use comply with all applicable laws, regulations and — where relevant — the policies of their institution.

Prohibited Use

Materials must not be purchased, resold or used for:

• Therapeutic use
• Diagnosis or treatment of any condition
• Prevention or mitigation of disease
• Veterinary administration
• Recreational, cosmetic or performance use in humans or animals

Product Status

Cobalt Peptides research materials are not medicines and are not marketed, supplied or represented as medicinal products, pharmaceuticals, food, food supplements, cosmetics or consumer health products.

They hold no marketing authorisation and have not been assessed by any medicines regulator for safety or efficacy in humans or animals. Nothing supplied by us is a substitute for a licensed medicine or for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Confirmation at Checkout

Every order requires the purchaser to confirm, before payment, that the materials are being acquired for research use only. Placing an order is a confirmation of research-only intent and of acceptance of this policy.

That confirmation is a representation by the purchaser. It is recorded with the order.

Refusal and Cancellation of Orders

We may refuse, delay or cancel an order, in whole or in part, and may refund it, where the information available to us indicates that the materials are intended for a prohibited purpose.

That includes information given to us by the purchaser, statements made in correspondence with our support team, and the circumstances of the order itself. We may also decline to supply a customer in future on the same basis.

We are not obliged to give reasons for a refusal, and a refusal is not an accusation of wrongdoing.

Support Enquiries

Our support team can help with product specifications, documentation, batch records, shipping and order administration.

They will not provide guidance on human or veterinary administration, dosing for people, or the use of any material for a therapeutic purpose, and will refer any such enquiry back to the research-use-only status of the materials.
