PT-141 (Bremelanotide)

PT-141 (bremelanotide) is a synthetic melanocortin receptor agonist with selectivity for the MC3 and MC4 receptors in the central nervous system. Its described mechanism is central rather than vascular, which distinguishes it from compounds acting on peripheral blood flow such as PDE5 inhibitors.
