Cagrilintide (AM833)

Evidence profile: Human Phase 3 evidence

Cagrilintide (AM833) is a long-acting, lipidated amylin analogue with activity at both amylin and calcitonin receptors. Its acylation gives an extended half-life suited to once-weekly administration in study protocols, and it has been investigated both alone and alongside GLP-1 receptor agonists in published metabolic research. Cagrilintide is not an approved medicine and remains investigational. Supplied strictly as a research compound for laboratory use.
