Neuropeptides and designed compounds for research on neurotrophic signalling and neurotransmitter systems. Semax and Selank come from the Russian neuropeptide tradition: Semax is built from an ACTH fragment and studied for BDNF signalling, Selank from tuftsin and studied for GABAergic effects. Adamax is a Semax analogue whose evidence is still borrowed from its parent. Dihexa and P021 are designed compounds aimed at growth-factor signalling, through HGF/c-Met and BDNF respectively, and Cerebrolysin is a peptide mixture prepared from brain protein.
