Circadian Research Peptides
Compounds for research on circadian timing and hypothalamic signalling: melatonin, DSIP, oxytocin and PT-141. Melatonin is the reference point: a pineal hormone with mapped receptors and decades of replicated work on the timing of the circadian cycle. DSIP, a nine-residue neuropeptide, was named for sleep, but its mechanism remains unresolved. Oxytocin, a hypothalamic nonapeptide, and PT-141, a melanocortin agonist acting at the MC3 and MC4 receptors, belong to the same neuroendocrine territory. Independent certificates are published for tested batches.
